Hair Testing

The testing of hair follicles is on of the most informative type of drug testing available. It can provide information about drug use for up to three months. A sample of hair equal to the width of a pencil or the size of a cotton ball, if the hair is curly, is needed so a person will not need to worry about a larger patch being removed. While it is typical for hair follicles on the head to be removed, if none is available, they can be taken from other places on the body.
